I had a blast hanging out with Cody and taking his senior portraits. He was up for anything (including taking some photos in Starbucks) and made my job very easy. He looks like a model and is the sweetest guy…watch out ladies….

Finding little pockets in the yard

I’ve been working on seeing the little ‘pockets’ around the yard and around town (usually while out on runs) that have nice light and backgrounds…rather than always looking at the whole area. While my side yard as a whole is not so photogenic, I found this little ‘pocket’ that was just right.

Storyboards available

Another way to showcase your favorite photos is to create a storyboard…to tell a story (showing photos from each of your child’s sessions to show their growth, for example) or showcase several images from the same sitting, like the one below which shows all of the little girl’s spunk and personality from one mini-session. I am happy to create storyboards with images from your session(s), working with you to achieve the style, size, feel, and ’story’ which you would like to share. Prices vary due to size, style, and complexity.This example features six 4×4 inch photographs, borders, and her name and date at the bottom. Actual size is 13×18, and it would look beautiful in a simple black frame.

Canvas prints available

If you have not seen photographs printed on canvas, take a look at these samples. They are absolutely gorgeous. They look just like paintings on canvas…the image wraps around the sides of the frame and it’s printed directly on textured canvas. They are very classy and contemporary, don’t require a frame, and the color is awesome. I recently had six printed, of photographs of the girls and dogs, in different sizes for our home.

9 Months Old on the 4th of July

I photographed this little girl three months ago, when she turned six months. For that shoot there was a couple feet of snow on the ground and frigid temperatures. This time we spent the session outdoors in the green grass, in between light sprinkles. I have a lot of favorites from this session…too many to share here. It was a great shoot.
…and I get to photograph her again when she turns 1!!
