Punky Brewster

This is a four year-old with some serious spunk and personality…..and a majorly unique sense of style and self-expression. I love that she feels safe and confident enough to be her own person.
Yes, she’s mine and I’m so incredibly proud of her…. for so many reasons.

Look how cute she is today after getting a whole new hairdo. She begged for the color and picked her own style out of a book.

Daisy

How cute is this little girl?

Urban Christmas

I took my girls out yesterday to do some urban-style Christmas photos. I wanted them to be bright and fun and different, since I plan to use some for Christmas cards and to hang in the house. It was cold so we were very quick, but I’m happy to finally get some of my own girls…it’s been a while since I’ve been so busy photographing everyone else’s children lately!

Thanks ‘N’ and ‘J’ for playing with me!

I had so much fun playing with my new friends. Check out these future heart breakers….

Here you go, Rachel….

…a handful of photos for you of your little men! Thanks for letting me play with them!

Playing

Just playing with my new camera….
Some more from California, then one of what I came home to…..
and a bunch of my oldest.

Sunset

I went to California this week for work, and took along the new camera of course! Here are a couple from the beach. Got there just in time.

For my photographer readers…

Look at what the 40D can do with noise….. This is taken at 1600 ISO with no noise reduction used.
Incredible.

The new camera is in the house!!

After fighting with my Olympus E-510 for many months and having terrible trouble with both color balance and digital noise I made the jump to the Canon 40D! I’m thrilled with it after only playing with it once so far. There is so little noise and the white balance (color temperature) is spot on. Thought I’d share the first images from the new baby!

The last of the mini-sessions

This is the last mini-session from last weekend. One last sneak peek for this mother and her daughters….

And then all of the galleries from last week will go up within the next day, so all of you waiting so patiently will hear from me soon!
