Getting out from behind the camera

It’s a fact of life. Photographers don’t like to have their photograph taken. But sometimes you just have to do it…when your Great-Great-Grandchildren look at the family album you don’t want them to wonder why Great-Great-Grandma wasn’t in any photos with her family.

So here is my friend, Amy, Photographer extraordinare, and her gorgeous daughter.

Who wants a free session??? Someone’s going to get one.

I’ve decided it would be fun to have a contest and give the winner a free session ($100 value)! You can keep it for yourself or give it to someone who deserves a little gift.

We are going to play a game of….

“What the heck is it???”

I’m going to take ten photos of standard household items and post two each week for five weeks. All you have to do is watch for the posts and guess what the item in the photo is. You leave a comment on the post telling me something about your day (ie: “my dog peed on the kitchen floor” or “I got a raise” or “I washed my sheets” or “I went to this awesome blog for this really cool photographer…..” or “I sent Rebecca a gnome today”….you get the gist…. and then email me your guess. You don’t want to put your guess in the comment or everyone will see what a genius you are and get depressed. Just click on ‘contact Rebecca’ at the top of the page. Put ‘Blog Contest’ in the subject line. Whoever gets the most correct after all ten are posted wins!!

Go ahead and tell your friends to play or to help you with your guesses!!
